Our approach to sizing
Many pieces at The Closet are designed as free size or flexible fit. Where a garment has a stated size, we present the sizing supplied for that piece and encourage an in-store fitting whenever possible. Fit can vary by silhouette, fabric and individual body type.
When a size change may be considered
A size change may be considered only through a visit to The Closet in Kurukshetra, or exceptionally with prior written approval from the founders. Approval is not automatic and remains subject to inspection and availability.
Condition requirements
The original bill is required. The piece must be unworn, unused, unwashed, unaltered and undamaged, with all tags, labels and original packaging intact. Items that cannot safely be resold for hygiene or condition reasons are not eligible unless they were defective when supplied.
Availability
An approved change depends on the requested size being available. Limited pieces may sell out, and we cannot guarantee the same style, colour or value. If the exact size is unavailable, our team may suggest an alternative; this does not create a right to a refund.
Exceptional remote approval
Contact us as soon as possible and do not send an item until founder approval has been confirmed in writing. Unless the item was defective or incorrectly supplied and applicable law provides otherwise, all shipping and handling costs for an approved remote size change are the customer’s responsibility.
